First of all, vapor phase silicone board are mainly made of high-purity silicone, using the gas-phase production process, and have excellent high temperature resistance, ultraviolet resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties. It has a wide operating temperature range and can typically maintain stable performance from -60°C to +250°C. In addition, the chemical inertness of silicone materials makes them highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion, making them suitable for use in high-demand fields such as medical, food and electronics. Vapor phase silicone board are especially suitable for scenes that require extremely high heat resistance and weather resistance.

In contrast, EPDM rubber sheet (ethylene propylene rubber) is known for its excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance and chemical resistance. It maintains good physical properties in the temperature range of -50°C to +150°C and is commonly used in outdoor applications such as roof sealing, automotive parts and construction projects. EPDM rubber has strong resistance to acid and alkali solutions, polar solvents and aging, but its oil resistance is poor and cannot be used for a long time in high temperature environments.

In summary, vapor phase silicone board are more suitable for high temperature and special chemical-resistant environments, while EPDM rubber sheets are more economical and suitable for medium-low temperature and outdoor sealing applications. The selection should be based on the specific use environment and needs.
